Screen

Battery capacity

Battery life is the weak point of any portable device, not just a smartphone. The task of manufacturers is to make the phone last on one battery charge at least until the evening, or better, a couple of days. To achieve this, batteries are trying to make more and more capacious. When choosing a smartphone, it is better to focus on models with a battery of at least 3500 mAh. Better – 4000 mAh and above.

Built-in memory

A smartphone does not have much memory. Neither 8 nor 16 gigabytes of built-in storage is enough for your applications and media collection. It is better to immediately choose a device with at least 32 GB of internal storage.

CPU

The processor – a system-on-a-chip – is the heart of a smartphone. The speed of the device, its temperature, and battery life depend on it.

Number of Cores

Even budget smartphones are equipped with processors with 8 cores, although 4 is enough for most tasks. In theory, a larger number of processor cores should increase its performance. This may be true, but cores are not the only characteristic of a processor.

Clock frequency

This parameter shows how many operations per second the processor can do. For mobile processors and 2 GHz is no longer the limit.

Manufacturers

4G LTE

This is a modern cellular communication format that provides fast Internet at speeds up to 1 gigabit per second. The fifth-generation networks will not come into wide use soon, and the third generation has already lost its relevance, so our choice is 4G.

Protected from dust and moisture

This parameter is determined according to the military standard IPXX. The first X stands for dust resistance, the second for water resistance. The more numbers, the better. If instead of numbers there is X, it means that the smartphone has not been tested for the degree of protection against water or dust.
