SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 Exam:

The SSC CGL 2022 Tier 1 Exam date has been announced and the exams are scheduled to take place from 1st December- 13th December 2022. The admit card can be downloaded on the regional websites of SSC. Also, SSC CGL exam comes with 20,000 vacancies for which the exam is conducted by the commission. The admit cards will be issued to only those candidates whose application form has been accepted.

This examination is held in online mode and consists of 100 MCQs which are based on Intelligence Reasoning, General Awareness, English comprehension, and quantitative aptitude. The marks distribution for this examination is kept out of 200, which means that each MCQ carries 2 marks. Since the SSC CGL 2022 Exam date has been released and is about to happen so the applicants or interested candidates need to level up their preparation. 

Steps to Check SSC CGL Tier 1 Result

You can check your SSC CGL Tier 1 Result by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official site of SSC- ssc.nic.in.

Step 2: You can find the result tab at the top of the page, and click on it.

Step 3: Go to the SSC CGL link.

Step 4: A PDF file will be opened, find your roll number in it.

Step 5: Download the file for future reference. 

What is SSC CGL?

SSC CGL stands for Staff Selection Commission (SSC) Combined Graduate Level (CGL). Only graduates can apply for this examination and participate in it. This is a national-level examination that is conducted by SSC every year to select and short-list candidates for Group B and C posts in the government department and ministries. It has been observed that every year around 30 lakh candidates fill out the SSC CGL form and around 15 lakh appear in the exams. 

SSC conducts the examination in four stages or tiers. The first two tiers of the SSC CGL exam are held online while the other two tiers are held offline. 

How Does SSC release the result of CGL Tier 1?

SSC releases the results of CGL Tier 1 online on their official website ssc.nic.in. They release the result in PDF format, from where the candidates can check their roll numbers. They also release a separate category-wise cut-off for each post. If you cannot find your roll number in the result PDF, you still need to clear the exam.

• Tier 1 Examination:  1st December 2022 to 13th December 2022

• Tier 1 Examination:  13th August 2021 to 24th August 2021

• Tier 1 Result:  26th  November 2021

• Tier 2 examination:  28th January 2022 to 29th January 2022

• Tier 2 Result: 26th April 2022

• Tier 3 Examination:  6th Feb 2022

• Tier 3 Result: 7th July 

• Final Result:  31st October 2022

SSC CGL Scorecard can be downloaded by the candidate through these steps:

Step 1: Go to the official website of SSC- ssc.nic.in.

Step 2: On the Homepage, enter your username and password.

Step 3: Then enter the Captcha text in the space given there.

Step 4: Click on the login button.

Step 5: Then you need to click on the result tab.

Step 6: Select your preferred exam from the drop-down list.

Step 7: Click on the submit button.

Step 8: And you can now download your scorecard. 

SSC CGL 2022 Tier-I exams are happening in December and the applicants or desired candidates have to gear up their preparation process for the exam and study smartly.
