In Lahore, there are several excellent cafés and restaurants where you may spend time with friends and family. If you are someone who wants quality packaged dishes, but at a reasonable price, then you have come to the right place. Click here to see the Best Restaurants in Lahore for Couples.

So if you are generous and craving some ‘affordable luxury’ rather than very cheap, budget food, head to some of these restaurants in Lahore serving food under Rs. 1000/-:

The wok

Located in the premier shopping center Mall 1, Gulberg, The Wok is a haven for Chinese foodies. You can build your meal from a variety of chicken, beef, and fish entrees with a side of chow mein or rice. There are soups and appetizers and Pina Coladas so you will be well looked after.

This “bowl system” really works for groups of people who have different tastes and normally can’t agree on what to get. So yes!

The sweet tooth

As the name suggests, yes, there is dessert involved. However, The Sweet Tooth even has its own share of amazing namkeen dishes! We’d talk about their remarkable chicken and beef burgers, but we’re really here to discuss the cheesy goodness that is their deep-dish pizza. Layers of marinara, cheese, veggies and sausage, and more cheese—you’ll be planning your next visit before you’ve even finished eating. This too is under PKR 1,000.

Mouthful is so underestimated. Their taste, quality, and value for money are incredible, which is why they are on this list! The restaurant has a variety of options under PKR 1,000 to choose from such as tandoori fish tikka, paneer haryali, and their beer (non-alcoholic) canned chicken! They even have a brunch menu with nihari and their signature omelet is sure to fill you up!

Rina’s kitchen

Rina’s has been a household name for years. They started with to-die-for cakes and desserts, and have now successfully transitioned into a to-die-for eatery! With a great ambiance, Rina’s Kitchenette also fully delivers with its menu. Buttermilk fried chicken burgers, cheeseburgers, sandwiches, chicken pot pies, three-cheese cannelloni, and more, it would be a mistake to retreat from the crowds and go elsewhere. Most of these options come in under PKR 1,000 even with taxes, so check out this favorite among Lahore restaurants.

Outpost BYOB

Outpost BYOB has been a constant on Lahore’s burger scene. Coupled with their outdoor setting, their beef and chicken burgers are an absolute treat. You can create your own burger (BYOB :D) however you like, whether it’s with melted gouda or mozzarella, pickles, caramelized onions, honey-mustard sauce… it’s all up to you. Add some fries or onion rings and fresh lime to round out the meal. All this is under PKR 1,000. If you have the cash to spare and an obsession with cheese, you MUST try their mozzarella sticks served piping hot with stringy cheese ready to burst out of the outer breading layer.

The Brasserie

A new addition to the Mall 1 restaurants in Lahore, the Brasserie is a good interior mixed with great taste and good value! Nearly their entire menu, except for the beef, lamb, and seafood entrees, is under PKR 1,000 and includes grilled sandwiches, very juicy burgers, pizzas to die for, authentic pasta, and finally some pretty impressive salads. Their three-cheese spaghetti chicken is a customer favorite, and we dare say it has also been compared to a similar dish from Café Aylanto – only more affordable. Pair your chicken with a chilled soda. Call for the check, pay within PKR 1,000 and go home a happy person.

Nando’s does chicken and filling like no other! Grab some of that delicious flame-grilled Peri Peri Quarter Chicken with some wedges and a Coke and you’ll be going home happy! If that’s not your thing, dive straight into the specials and grab a huge copper bowl of spiced yellow rice, grilled vegetables, and some chicken thighs smothered in Peri Peri sauce—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Yes, please!

Eataly Ristorante

The new restaurant nearby and it’s so good! Take the Aglio e Olio (Garlic and Olive Oil) with truffle oil, not because the name sounds sophisticated and all, but also because it’s SO GOOD and the truffle oil makes it even more delicious. There are many more items on the menu that won’t break your bank, so sit outside, order their delectable batter-fried fish and chips and enjoy the busy Main Boulevard strip in Lahore’s beautiful winter. Beautiful!

The utility room at the Polo Lounge

The Pantry features one of Lahore’s best and most complete menus. They provide the greatest yogurt and granola with fruits and nuts for breakfast – the ideal way to start the day. Don’t like granola? Have a freshly baked bagel with cream cheese or a heavenly Eggs, Benedict, with turkey bacon and a latte! If you’re not there for breakfast, try one of their pastas, burgers, pizzas and grilled chickens. They’re all under PKR 1,000 and some even leave room for a strawberry mojito or sattu (barley) if you want a healthier option!

Cafe Zouk

Of course, Café Zouk is old-school, but that’s not to say it’s no longer Zouk! It’s every Lahori’s safe place – if you can’t decide where to go if all else fails, you know you can always go to Zouk. Sure, their menu is overwhelming, but it also delivers on taste and quality. Whether it’s their creamy ricotta, spinach-filled chicken cannelloni, or the special cordon bleu burger stuffed with cheese, there are plenty of options (in pasta, noodles, burgers, sandwiches) in the otherwise expensive menu at less than PKR 1,000, so you can pay cash for drinks and/or dessert! So the next time you and your S/O can’t decide where to go, head to Café Zouk!

The hotspot cafe

Hotspot has been every Lahori’s ice cream parlor for a very, very long time, but most people don’t know that The Hotspot serves commendable sandwiches, pies and pasta. Whether you’re looking for a fried chicken melt or a really hot plate of penne pasta with chicken and alfredo, they’ve got you covered. Grab pasta and a serving of apple lemonade, all within PKR 1,000. With the taste and quality already exceptional, the movie posters and interior add to the experience and make it a perfect place to eat and relax!

Delicious pizza bar

Delish is a breath of fresh air when it comes to the pizza scene in Lahore. Sick of the deep pan, oily crusts most commercial pizza chains serve? Do not worry. Delicious pizzas have a thin crust, come with the freshest ingredients from cheese to meat and THEY TAST AWESOME. Along with pizzas, they have a four cheese mac n cheese that we can’t get enough of, as well as a classic beef lasagna! Go for meetha for their tiramisu! All within your budget and all, so delicious.

For all weight-watchers and organic food finders, GreenHouse is where it is! Located in a quiet Phase 4 Commercial Area lane in Defense, the eatery offers high-calorie meals, drinks and desserts that taste and look great! If you want breakfast bowls, burgers and sandwiches, Korean/Thai food, salads and grilled chicken, even desi dishes, it’s all available at the GreenHouse – all very affordable and you’ll save money for an energy-boosting protein shake, or a karak chai if you’re into are the mood!

Qabail undoubtedly has the best in Pushtoon cuisine of many restaurants in Lahore! Their chapli kebabs are incredible – a crunchy outer layer, but when you bite into it, juicy tomatoes and meat explode in your mouth, leaving behind a delicious concoction of flavors. Paired with their namkeen chicken karahi (half) and some hot steaming naan… dine like a maharani or maharaja within budget! If you go in the evening, chances are you will also get to see the famous Attan dance!

This small Persian eatery serves authentic and unbelievably delicious food! It can take time to develop a taste for the kitchen as first-timers, and that includes Lahori. However, if you like Persian cuisine, this is your place to dine, without breaking your wallet! Their trademark lamb kebab-e-koobideh, coupled with saffron rice and Persian lassi known as dogh, is a must-order! If you don’t want lassi, order their delicious shole zard – a Persian firni with saffron in it. Haye, mujhe bhi chahiye.

Cafe pomelo

If you ever get hungry shopping at Packages Mall, do yourself a favor and don’t go to the food court. Turn around and find your way to Café Pomelo, a hidden gem in the middle of a packed shopping center. Order cashew chicken or spicy Mongolian chicken noodles, a Coke to make you thirsty, and treat yourself to a well-deserved tummy treat. Thank me later!
